BOOK REPORT

This book was about Robin Hood trying to help poor people who didn’t want to work in the Treeton Mine because the conditions there were unsafe and it was really dangerous. When the Sheriff realized that they didn’t want to work anymore, he decided to buy slaves to work for him, and also he didn’t want people to help the men who used to work in the mine.

This is when Robin Hood made a plan in which the slaves who were working in the mine, would pretend that they brought a disease that would kill everyone. The guards thought this was true, so they ran away. While this was happening, the Sheriff, Gisborne and Marian were in the competition for the Silver Arrow waiting for Robin Hood to show up so they could kill him.

A man showed up at the competition, and told them that Robin Hood was putting the mine on fire. The Sheriff and Gisborne went away to see if this was true. They fought against Robin, and at the end Robin put the mine on fire. What Robin didn’t know was that an enemy of Gisborne  named Rowan knew that he was in love with Marian, so he decided to kill her. Robin also was in love with her, so he went to rescue her.

Marian convinced the Rowan that the best way to revenge his father’s death was to win the silver arrow. At this moment Gisborne and the Sheriff came back to the competition and they thought that the man that won the competition was Robin, but he wasn’t. The man who won the silver arrow was Rowan, and he was going to sell the silver arrow to buy food for the people who used to work in the mine.

Robin was happy and he went back to the forest with his friends.

Activities

For children: In Plaza Tio Conejo and Pueblo antiguo attractions are made for children measuring between 0.80 and 1.10 m in height. Those who are less than 0.80 must be accompanied by an adult as a means of security. Also, in this Plaza it is located Tio Conejo’s The-atre who makes shows to entertain the children.

For young people: For people who like strong emotions, there are attractions such as Tower, Bocaracá, Disko, Sky Master, Pacuare (water game) and Reventazon (water game).

Family Attractions: Adults can go with their children to the children's attrac-tions. People can also take pictures and see the theater Bomberos, which pre-sents cultural performances.

Pueblo Antiguo: An image of San Jose in the latest nineteenth and the earliest twentieth century.

Thanksgiving Is celebrated on the 4th Thursday of November. There are many ways to celebrate and express thanks at thanksgiving even in difficult times, there are always things for which to be grateful.

In 14863 President Abraham Lincoln appointed a National day of Thanksgiving.

The History

Before the establishment of formal religions many ancient farmers believed that their crops contained spirits which caused the crops to grow and die.

Harvest festivals and thanksgiving, celebrations were held by the ancient Greeks, The Romans, The Hebrews, the Chinese and Egyptians.

The United States

There was corn, fruits, vegetables, along with fish which was packed in salt, and meat that was smoke cures over fires. They built homes in the wilderness, they raised enough crops to keep them alive during the long coming winter, and they were at peace with India neighbors.

By the middle of the 19^th century many other states also celebrated a Thanksgiving Day.

In Alajuelita, the majority of people are catholics. They believe in Santo Cristo de Esquipulas and every year they do festivities. Alajuelita has its own drinks, named chicha and chinchivi.

My name is Kimberly Borbon Badilla, I'm 22 years old, I'm short, long black hair and dark, and also I’m very friendly, funny and nice.

My family is very important for my, My mother’s name is Giselle, she is 50 years old, she is short, dark and thin, My two brothers ' names are Bryan and Michael, Bryan is 25 years old, he is tall, dark and thin, and Michael is 30 years old, he is short, thin and dark, my sisters ' name is Melissa, she is 20 years old, she is short, dark and thick.
